Nutri2Cycle at the Biogas & Biomethane Congress in Poland

About the Congress

The Polish Nutri2Cycle team from Politechnika Czestochowska could present the Nutri2Cycle project outcomes during the Biogas & Biomethane Congress which took place on December 13-14^th, 2021  in Poland!

This year – despite the COVID-19 – the Congress attracted over 230 participants who arrived at the Ossa conference center in Rawa Mazowiecka. The event was also live streamed.

The Congress is the biggest annual event in Poland which gathers representatives from biogas industry, government, agriculture and academia. It is organized by the Biomass Media Group sp. z o.o which is an associated partner to the Nutri2Cycle consortium and supports the Polish Nutri2Cycle team and the Polish National Task Force in disseminating and communicating project outcomes to the targeted groups.

Nutri2Cycle outcomes presented during the Congress

Polish Nutri2Cycle team shared the project outcomes with the Congress participants by presenting posters with the obtained results. Anna Grosser delivered a presentation on poultry manure anaerobic digestion and how to improve the process

Polish National Task Force meeting and a special Nutri2Cycle session during the Congress

Polish National Task Force members had a chance to meet face to face and discuss the most pressing issues related to management of poultry manure, including technological, legal and economic aspects. Polish Nutri2Cycle team delivered four presentations on converting poultry manure through pyrolysis, composting and anaerobic digestion to added value products such as sorbents and energy. The presentations were followed by the discussion with the Congress participants.
