Nutri2Cycle & Circular Agronomics at ESNI2020

For the second time, the two sister projects Nutri2Cycle and Circular Agronomics will be connected during the European Sustainable Nutrient Initiative. But this time the two projects will bring concrete examples of the implementation of biobased resource recovery in Europe.

Rembert van Noort, a specialist in manure processing at the Southern Agriculture and Horticulture Organization (ZLTO) will represent the Nutri2Cycle project and will give a presentation entitled: “Growing potatoes using bio-based fertilizers; a step towards the adoption of bio-based fertilizers”.

Fabian Kraus, Project Manager at Kompetenzzentrum Wasser Berlin gGmbH will represent Circular Agronomics and provide a presentation focusing on the recovery of mineral N and P fertilizers from bio-based materials: experiences from pilot units.
