Amrita Saju

Amrita has been working at UGhent as a PhD student since 2018, first on the ReNu2Farm project where the focus was to bring recycled nutrients to farm scale. Through the course of this project, she worked largely on recycled and upscaled nitrogen fertiliser products like ammonium nitrate, ammonia water, ammonium sulphate etc. Extensive product characterisation was teamed with controlled and uncontrolled experimental trials. Pot experiments and field trials were performed to evaluate the agronomic use efficiency of these recycled N products. The field trials were performed in collaboration with the Nutri2Cycle project.

Amrita holds a MSc. Environmental Sciences (Mumbai University, India) and MSc. Climate Change and Sustainability (Brunel University, London)
