Arejacy Antonio Sobral Silva

Arejacy Antonio Sobral Silva is a PhD candidate at Instituto Superior de Agronomia (Portugal), under the supervision of Professor Dr David Fangueiro. Arejacy Silva graduated in Agronomy at the Federal University of Lavras and gained a Master’s degree in Animal Science at the Federal University of Viçosa (Brazil). He is currently a Professor at the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of São Paulo. His work within the Nutri2Cycle project is to evaluate animal slurry application techniques in conservation agriculture conditions, in which the soil should be undisturbed and permanently covered by crop residues, aiming to improve the nutrient use efficiency and reduce environmental impacts, toward more sustainable agriculture.
