Edilene Pereira

Edilene has been working at the the Institute of Agri-food Research and Technology (IRTA) and Universitat Rovira i Virgili as a PhD candidate since 2018. She completed a M.Sc. at the Universidade Federal do Ceará (Brazil) in Civil Engineering with a focus in environmental sanitation. She has been working in the Nutri2Cycle project on the topic of Life Cycle Assessment of novel technologies for nutrient recovery and nutrient efficiency, for both environmental and social assessment. Her thesis titled ‘Assessment of environmental and social impacts due to the inclusion of novel solutions and technologies for nutrient recovery in agriculture: Towards to sustainability in agriculture’ aims to provide different methodologies for estimating potential social and environmental impacts of novel technologies used in agriculture.
