Reindert Devlamynck

Reindert Devlamynck successfully defended his PhD “Sustainable protein production on agricultural effluents using duckweed” in September 2021 at Ghent University. He was supervised by professor Erik Meers. After his PhD he continues on the subject within the Nutri2Cycle project by guiding the PhD candidate Marie Lambert. His mission is to facilitate the introduction of duckweed as a crop for manure treatment, feed, and/or food purposes in Europe.

Today Reindert is affiliated at Inagro vzw in Roeselare (Belgium) but stays closely connected with the University of Ghent
