The third edition of its international summer school will take place from 7 to 9 June 2023 in Barcelona, Spain.
Following up the previous successful editions, the Nutri2Cycle international summer school will offer participants an insight on the activities and results achieved by the project.
Lectures on nutrient management in animal husbandry, innovative crop management practices, bio-based fertilisers from agro-residues will be some of the core topics addressed in the course, which will allow researchers to get a first-hand knowledge on the needs of the farming sector.
The program also includes two workshops focused respectively on the sustainability assessment on nutrient recovery and recycling and on the emission monitoring and abatement in manure processing. Furthermore, a breakout session on the latest development of the legal framework will enrich the course, providing food for thought and favoring the discussion on the current gaps in the nutrient cycles.
The event will offer networking opportunities and a visit to the IRTA pilot site to showcase practical experience on ammonia recovery from pig slurry.
A poster session will complement the summer school to present the last successful initiatives on the promotion of nutrient recycling in the EU.
Do not miss the opportunity to participate in our summer school to have comprehensive overview on how favor the transition to a more carbon, nitrogen and phosphorus efficient agriculture in Europe!
