Updates on the Biogas 2020 Congress

Members of the Nutri2Cycle team consisting of Krystyna Malińska, Małgorzata Kacprzak, Katarzyna Wystalska, Anna Jasińska, and Danuta Dróżdż, on December 7 took part in the Biogas 2020 Congress. The event was organized by Biomass Media Group (also member of the Polish National Task Force and associated partner to the Nutri2Cycle project).

Thematically, the event focused on the latest changes in the biogas industry, ground-breaking investments for the market, and future trends in biogas.

The Biogas Congress was an event for both biogas producers and industry experts, as well as potential investors and people interested in the subject of biogas in Poland. The conference program covered issues related to the investment process, biogas support systems, market changes, and technological innovations. Importantly, this year’s formula allowed for full online interaction of participants with speakers, as well as partner and sponsor companies.

Among the guests of the Congress were, among others representatives of the Polish Development Fund, Polish Oil Mining and Gas Extraction S.A. (PGNiG), The National Centre for Research and Development (NCBR) and H. Cegielski – Poznań.

During the 5th Biogas Congress, the premiere of the report “Biogas in Poland” took place. This is the first such comprehensive publication on the biogas industry. The report was prepared in cooperation with leading scientific institutions in the country.
